Yvette at Sweet Secrets Cake Shop is an exceptional CAN-DO proprietor! If she can bring someone happiness by delivering one of her delicious cakes, she will fly to the moon and back! The day of my granddaughter's birthday, on a moment's notice, she decorated and delivered a spectacular cake. Yvette took care of me as if I were "family," attended to every detail, and made the impossible possible from across the country. A yummy custom cake delivered to my delighted granddaughter without a hitch. I can't rave enough about this cake shop. There is no taste comparable to the enthusiasm and love that Yvette dedicates to each order!

I ordered some (6) cupcakes by phone for our immediate family for a big celebration, as I am located out of town. When I looked for a local bakery, Sweet Secrets was conveniently located and had good recent reviews. I called and the male owner was very helpful, answering my questions and when I stated I wanted them to look extra special, he said it wasn’t a problem and assured me they would be both delicious and beautiful. When I picked them up the following week, the woman there opened the box and I was so disappointed in their appearance, I couldn’t even think of anything polite to say. It honestly looked like a child applied the frosting. I paid and took my box hoping they would be so delicious, the appearance would not matter, plus, I made some decorations to place on them. We celebrated the next day (Sunday) and I could have cried. The cupcakes were so dry and the taste wasn’t worth the calories. I was devastated and so disappointed by this! Fortunately, since it was my immediate family only, we just had to laugh it off and accept I wasted my money.

If I could give Sweet Secrets Cake Shop 100 stars, I would. This place has genuinely altered the trajectory of my life. Before Sweet Secrets, cake was just “dessert.” After Sweet Secrets, every other cake tastes like sadness and disappointment. My mother-in-law introduced me to Yvette’s cakes years ago, and I am now forever indebted to her for that decision. At this point, our family doesn’t even consider other bakeries. It’s not an option. If the cake isn’t from Sweet Secrets, we’d honestly rather not even have cake. Every birthday, holiday, baby shower, random Tuesday, or life event somehow turns into, “Did someone call Yvette yet?” The cake itself should honestly be studied by scientists. I have no idea how something can be so moist, soft, rich, fluffy, and perfectly balanced all at the same time. Every bite feels illegal. It tastes like someone took every childhood memory, every ounce of happiness, and somehow baked it into a cake. And the icing… dear Lord, the icing. I don’t know what kind of sorcery Yvette is performing back there, but it has completely ruined icing anywhere else for me. Every other bakery now tastes like they mixed powdered sugar with drywall dust. Sweet

Ordered a birthday cake for today and couldn’t be any happier with the result. Cake was ready within 30 minutes and it was so beautiful. Great and friendly service ! Highly recommend!!! Cake couldn’t have been cuter too. 😊

Love this Cake Shop. They did our wedding cake back in 2010 and every year I do my best to order the same cake for my wife and I for all our anniversaries. We got the Italian Cream Cake, so moist and delicious. The decorations were beautiful. And they also have cupcakes for those days you just want some good cake. The best value cake you can find. Devin also rushed this year's cake for me, I called late yesterday evening and left a message, Devin called me the following morning to get an 8" Italian Cream Cake same day. Great customer service Devin!
